This little web site has some of my offerings in exploring dharma and meditation in the traditions of Mahamudra, Kagyu and Sacha… and some photography also.

I closed Open Mind Centre in Pai, northern Thailand in early 2020 after 8 busy years establishing and managing the Centre, teaching and running programs.

I continue to teach meditation and buddha dharma, and offer path support for seekers – at Saraswati Hermitage in Pai – just across the road from Open Mind Centre (whenever the virus permits us to return) – and in Hilton.

I’m a meditation and dharma student and teacher, anthropologist, percussionist, cranio-sacral therapist. I am recently mostly retired – I’m appreciating having a shorter to-do list!

I like to play kirtan & get out with my camera, renewing connection with what was a part-time profession some 40 years ago.

I live in Hilton / Fremantle, Western Australia and Pai, Northern Thailand.

... the search for the inner teacher ...

I laugh when I hear the fish in the water is thirsty.

We don’t grasp the fact that what is most alive of all is inside our own house –

and so we walk from one holy city to the next with a confused look!

Kabir will tell you the truth:

Go wherever you like, to Calcutta or Tibet, if you can’t find where your soul is hidden,

for you the world will never be real.
